It was important for me to work for a firm whose projects I believed in.
I returned to the Bay Area after grad school to work on projects with far reaching positive impacts in the region where I grew up. LMSA stands out to me because the firm balances designing beautiful things with making useful and productive contributions to cities.
Before LMSA, I worked for the Department of Public Works, which has strict standards for accessibility, so I’m used to pages and pages of accessibility details. From this experience, I learned of the attention to detail that is needed to design spaces for all to enjoy.
