735 Davis

Directly facing the Embarcadero with stunning views of the Bay, the development at 735 Davis provides affordable homes for formerly homeless to middle income seniors on the site of the former Embarcadero Freeway.

Along the Embarcadero located in the Northeast Waterfront Historic District and adjacent to the historic Telegraph Hill neighborhood, this new building provides 53 affordable homes for seniors. The brick façade blends seamlessly into the surrounding context. The ground floor provides community spaces, a café space, and frames a public mid-block passage. A mural along the mid-block passage by San Francisco artist, Britt Henze, “Dock of the Bay” celebrates the colors of the bay, the bridge, and the sky. 735 Davis is certified GreenPoint Platinum. It is immediately adjacent to the Broadway Cove development which provides 125 units of Family Housing.
