LMSA collaborated with Page on this campus master plan, which identified development strategies for meeting research, faculty, and student needs, with a sensitive treatment of historic and natural resources through adaptive reuse and deep green architecture. Thoughtful placement of new structures and enhancement of in-between spaces will help create a collegial environment for fostering collaboration between San Francisco State students, campus researchers, partner programs, and the greater public. Page lead an effort to certify the master plan as part of the Living Community Challenge, a framework for creating symbiotic relationship between people, buildings, and the natural environment.
