ClimateWorks Foundation

This office space for a leading environmental foundation creates a sustainable workplace that weaves together advanced energy-efficiency and carbon reduction within inviting spaces that connect staff and visitors to each other and to the natural world.

The ClimateWorks Foundation is an international philanthropic network organized to win the battle against climate change. They desired a 13,200 square foot work environment for a staff of 45, with video conference rooms, a cafe, bicycle parking, showers, and support spaces. The LEED Platinum-Certified project incorporates elements of Biophilic Design – including an interior “creek” and a family of organic forms found in nature – to establish strong visceral connections between the occupants of this urban high-rise and the natural world they are working to protect.
